Uri Carmel-Kraiem, B.A., M.S.W., R.S.W., R.M.F.T.-S.

Uri Carmel-Kraiem, B.A., M.S.W., R.S.W., R.M.F.T.-S. is a trauma-informed registered social worker and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families impacted by trauma, grief, and emotional distress. Uri has supervised clinicians and teams focused on trauma recovery.

In his role as a social work associate with EDSW, Uri works with clients recovering from motor vehicle trauma, and those who are recovering from concussions and acquired brain injuries. Uri uses a warm, collaborative, client centered approach, grounded in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy and systemic family therapy to support co-regulation, promote emotional regulation, foster healing, and enhance connection.

Uri is also a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (R.M.F.T.-S.) through the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a designation that reflects his advanced training in systemic and relational approaches to care.
